Speed Report 2025
Worldwide internet performance aggregated from the country reports available in our database. Synthetic estimates and empty samples are excluded from global averages and rankings.
Top countries by download speed
Transparent sources.
No invented rankings.
The page reads annual country records directly from PostgreSQL. Measurement Lab aggregates and other explicitly named sources remain distinguishable, and synthetic estimates are excluded from the aggregate and ranking.

Methodology
Country-level annual aggregates are read from the reporting database and combined using their available sample counts. Rankings require at least 20 tests. Synthetic estimates are excluded before weighting or ranking. The year-over-year download comparison is 249.2% higher than 2024 and is shown only because both annual records exist.

- IP geolocation and network attribution can be imperfect.
- A national aggregate does not predict service at a particular address.
