Download and upload use M-Lab NDT7. The widget timing cards use browser HTTP requests to Internet Analysis, not an ICMP ping to a game server; failed requests are not a general packet-loss diagnosis.
Internet speed test widget
Add a responsive, isolated speed test to your website. Preview light and dark designs, publish one script, then verify the installation.
Preview is not a verified installation. Starting a real test transfers data to M-Lab; do not test on a metered connection without checking your allowance.
Paste this code into your page
The widget runs inside an iframe, so its HTML, CSS, and JavaScript cannot overwrite your site styles.

Paste the current embed code into your site, publish it, then check the exact page below. Keep this browser to verify your installation key. No account is required.
We fetch public HTML to find your unique embed code and record one installation per website domain. Private pages, previews and JavaScript-only injection cannot be verified here. Advertising measurement is optional and follows your cookie choices; no Google advertising tags are added to your visitors’ pages.M-Lab collects connection data including IP address and test time and publishes measurement data. Read its privacy policy before running a test. No Google advertising tags are injected into your visitors’ pages.
Visitors start tests themselves. Transfer size depends on connection speed; there is no fixed MB allowance enforced by this configurator. Static files still load when the widget appears. Show a metered-data warning on your page.
From preview to a working published widget
- Choose light or dark, then check the mobile preview. Custom colors can reduce contrast, so check labels and buttons yourself.
- Copy the generated production script and paste it into your CMS HTML/code block where the test should appear. Do not paste it into a text-only editor.
- Publish the public HTTPS page. Allow scripts and frames from
https://internet-analysis.comin your site’s Content Security Policy; do not disable your entire security policy. - Check the page on desktop and mobile, then verify its exact URL above. HTML verification confirms published code, not successful tests or continued use.
- With the data notice visible, run one test on the published page. If the frame is missing, check the browser console, consent tools and blockers; JavaScript-only injection cannot be verified by the HTML checker.
Update or remove
Changes here update only this preview. To update your installed design, replace the script on your site with newly copied code and publish again. To uninstall, remove that script or CMS block and publish; remove any manually added frame too. Removal stops future loading but does not erase previously collected M-Lab data.
Verification privacy and limits
The checker fetches public HTML, stores a website domain and opaque installation receipt, and does not store the submitted full URL in the installations table. It rejects private pages and query strings, limits the HTML fetch to 2 MB and 8 seconds, and may ask you to retry after a cooldown. Keep the local verification key private; only its public hash appears in the script.
