SEO Agent Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the SEO Agent desktop application, provided by Internet Analysis, handles information when you crawl a website, connect Google services or use optional analysis features.
Effective date, controller and scope
Effective and last updated: September 23, 2026.
This policy applies specifically to SEO Agent for desktop and the SEO Agent services available through internet-analysis.com. Internet Analysis is operated by ImproveIT.pl, NIP (Polish tax identification number): 7343126810, correspondence address: ul. Piaszczysta 33/77, 31-226 Kraków, Poland. ImproveIT.pl is the provider of SEO Agent and the controller of the product account and service data described here.
The separate Internet Analysis website privacy policy applies to general use of our website.
Information you provide
SEO Agent processes project details and settings that you choose to enter, including website URLs, crawl configuration, content, keywords, notes and report preferences. This project data remains in the local SQLite database on your device.
Our server stores only the information needed to provide user accounts, authentication, authorization, licensing and transaction records, such as your account identifier, email address, authentication record, license or plan status and purchase history.
Purchases and Paddle
Paid SEO Agent subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle separately collects and processes buyer identity, billing address, tax location, payment-method and transaction information under the Paddle Privacy Notice. Internet Analysis does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
We receive limited purchase and subscription information needed to activate and administer your plan, provide support and keep accounting or fraud-prevention records. This may include your email address, Paddle customer, transaction and subscription identifiers, purchased plan, price and currency, country or tax status, payment status, renewal date, and cancellation or refund status.
Why we process information
We process account, licensing and transaction information to perform our contract with you, provide requested product features and support, secure the service, prevent abuse, comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations, and pursue our legitimate interests in operating and improving a reliable product. Where applicable law requires consent for a specific activity, we rely on that consent and you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Google user data accessed
SEO Agent accesses Google user data only after you initiate the Google OAuth flow and approve the requested permissions. Depending on the integrations and permissions you choose, this may include:
- basic Google account identity used during connection, such as your email address and account identifier;
- Google Search Console properties and verified site URLs available to your account;
- Search Console performance data, including dates, search queries, pages, countries, devices, search appearance, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position;
- Search Console sitemap and URL inspection information when you request those features;
- Google Analytics account, property and data-stream metadata available to your account; and
- aggregated GA4 reporting dimensions and metrics, such as traffic acquisition, landing pages, sessions, users, engagement, events, conversions, device, geography and date ranges.
SEO Agent does not request access to unrelated Google products such as Gmail, Google Drive or Google Photos.
How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to provide user-facing SEO Agent features that you request: connecting the correct properties, displaying performance dashboards, combining search and analytics evidence with local crawl results, detecting changes or anomalies, prioritizing SEO recommendations and generating reports for the connected websites.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, build advertising profiles or allow humans to read it except when necessary for security, support requested by you, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent.
Local storage and security
SEO Agent is a local-first desktop application. All project information—including Google Search Console and GA4 data, crawl evidence, project settings and derived insights—is stored only in the application’s local SQLite database on your device. It is not synchronized to or retained in the SEO Agent server database. OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain.
Data sent between SEO Agent and Google APIs, the account and licensing service, or the optional AI pipeline is protected in transit using HTTPS. You are responsible for protecting access to your Mac and Google account.
No user analytics or telemetry
SEO Agent does not collect product-usage analytics, behavioral analytics or telemetry about how you use the desktop application. We do not create user analytics profiles. Website crawl data, Search Console reports and GA4 reports are not used to analyze SEO Agent users.
AI-assisted features
AI processing is optional and starts only when you explicitly request an AI-assisted feature. The application sends only the selected content or evidence required for that request to a processing pipeline. The pipeline processes the request, returns the result directly to the desktop client and does not retain the submitted data or generated result on the server.
SEO Agent does not use Google user data or other project data to train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. You remain responsible for reviewing generated recommendations and drafts.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored project and Google reporting data remains on your device until you delete the connected project or local app data. Disconnecting Google stops new API access. You can also revoke SEO Agent’s permission from your Google Account connections. Revoking permission does not automatically remove data already stored locally; delete the relevant project or application data separately.
The AI pipeline has no retention period because it does not store submitted data or results. To request deletion of account, authentication, license or transaction-related data held by the service, email [email protected]. We may retain limited transaction or security records where required by accounting, fraud-prevention or legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You decide whether to connect a Google account, which available permissions to grant, which properties to analyze and whether to start optional transfers. You may decline or revoke a permission, although the related feature will no longer work.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of eligible personal data and may object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise a right or ask a privacy question.
Google API Limited Use
SEO Agent’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children and policy changes
SEO Agent is a professional website-analysis tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app.
We may update this policy when features, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available at this URL. Material changes to how Google user data is used will be reflected in the app’s privacy notice and, where required, presented for consent.
